GMCVO Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisations

GMCVO is the support (infrastructure) organisation for the voluntary sector in the sub-region of Greater Manchester.
Charity-Advice is a member of GMCVO
Our aim is to strengthen the voluntary sector, build bridges with other sectors, and influence local and national policy. Our work is representing, promoting and developing voluntary organisations, working in partnership with other organisations doing similar work.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations

NCVO is a highly effective lobbying organisation and represents the views of its members, and the wider voluntary sector to government, the Charity Commission, the European Union and other bodies. They are also at the leading edge of research into, and analysis of, the voluntary sector. NCVO holds a directory of approved Consultants. I am a NCVO approved Consultant for 2008

NAVCA National Association for Voluntary and Community Action

NAVCA is the national voice of local voluntary and community sector infrastructure in England. Our 360 members work with 140,000 local community groups and voluntary organisations which provide services, regenerate neighbourhoods, increase volunteering and tackle discrimination, in partnership with local public bodies.

The Institute of Fundraising

The Institute of Fundraising is the professional membership body for UK fundraisers, working to promote the highest standards in fundraising practice and management. I am an Associate Member of the Institute of Fundraising.
